The Factory 12U Black defeats Batbusters IE 14-5

- Even though The Factory 12U Black gave up five runs in the first inning, it still defeated Batbusters I.E. 14-5 on Sunday. Batbusters I.E.'s big inning was driven by a fielder's choice by #99, a stolen base, a home run by #21, and a error.
- The Factory 12U Black secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the second inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Aly Z, a fielder's choice by Hailey B, a single by Hailey M, a stolen base by Tess A, a stolen base by Emma G, a double by Charlie J, a single by Jensyn B, and a stolen base by Nena C.
- Batbusters I.E. took an early lead in the first inning. #99 hit into a fielder's choice, scoring one run.
- The Factory 12U Black took the lead for good with eight runs in the second inning. In the second Aly singled off of #8, driving in one run, #8 induced Hailey to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Hailey singled off of #8, driving in one run, Tess singled, driving in zero, a runner stole home, Charlie doubled off of #8, driving in one run, Jensyn singled off of #8, driving in one run, and Nena singled, driving in zero.
- Charlie earned the win for The Factory 12U Black. She went three innings, giving up five runs, four hits, and striking out four. #8 took the loss for Batbusters I.E.. She tossed four innings, surrendering 14 runs, 16 hits, striking out one, and walking zero.
- Home runs for The Factory 12U Black came when Hailey homered in the third inning and Nenahomered in the fourth inning.
- The Factory 12U Black had 16 hits in the game. Tess, Charlie, Hailey, Aly, and Nena each collected multiple hits for The Factory 12U Black. Charlie, Nena, Hailey, and Tess each drove in two runs to lead The Factory 12U Black.
