We are very pleased to announce that Faith King, a 2019 future graduate from Helix HS, has verbally committed to continue her education and softball career at Mercy College in New York.

Faith plays centerfield for The Factory 16U Black and she also plays some shortstop. Faith is one of the best defensive outfielders Patrick and I have ever coached. She makes the outfield look small as she gets to so many balls in the gaps before they drop. It is an awesome feeling for our pitchers to know that they have Faith behind them making all sorts of great plays. Faith is also very talented on offense with the ability to lead-off, get on base at a high percentage, steal bases and on top of all that she has big time power and has hit several home runs for us. 

Faith is also a tremendous team leader. She does a great job of motivating her teammates and pushing them to be their best. I expect Faith to have an amazing career for Mercy.
