The Factory 16U Gold had a great run in Colorado at the 2019 TCS Sparkler tournament finishing as the runner-up in the top bracket. The girls played hard all week in high temperatures and dealt with rain delays.

Aurial Yeager was dominant in the circle for 16U Gold throwing 49 innings and winning 6 games. She held the opponents to a .217 batting average and had 35 strikeouts. On offense, 16U Gold was led by Jacquie Clark with a .615 batting average and Avery Perez had 12 hits to lead the team. Several others had great weeks on offense as well including Virginia Collins, Mackenzie LeFebvre, Breannah McCann and Sophia Manos. The team hit a whopping .380 for the week.

The Factory is proud to announce that Bailey Olaveson, a 2019 graduate from El Capitan High School, has committed to play softball and continue her education at Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts. Bailey, who carries a 4.10 GPA, is a power hitter / corner infielder and plays for The Factory 18U Gold Team under Head Coach Dan Worley.

Bailey had a nice summer in 2018 helping her Team compete in great events including Colorado Fireworks, Zoom into June and the World Fastpitch Championships. Bailey had several college opportunities but ENC was her favorite. We are excited for Bailey to get the opportunity to play for Coach Dani Bishop. Dani is a former Factory coach and one of the best young coaches in the game.

Bailey is extremely excited to become a Lion at Eastern Nazarene College!

Congratulations Bailey from all of us at The Factory!  Keep up the hard work.

EC Bullets CA is proud to announce that Alicia Crewse, a 2020 graduate from Chaparral High School in Temecula, has committed to play softball and continue her education at California State University at Sacramento. Alicia is a right-handed catcher/3B for the EC Bullets CA2020 team.

Alicia has been catching for EC Bullets (as well as Factory 16U Gold) since 2017 and we are extremely happy that she was able to connect with her dream school and she can continue to play softball at the collegiate level. Alicia has played a significant amount of time behind the plate during the team’s successes such as qualifying for PGF 16U Premier, placing 17th (Tied) at PGF 16U Premier Nationals, runner up at The Champions Cup, as well as multiple Triple Crown Tournament championships.

The Hornets are the athletic teams that represent Cal State Sacramento in the state’s Capital.  The Sacramento State Softball program is coming off winning both the Big Sky Conference regular season as well as the Big Sky Tournament.  By winning the Big Sky Tournament, Cal State Sacramento earned a berth in the NCAA Division 1 Regional Tournament where they faced eventual 3rd  place in the country UCLA (lost 3-0) and #22 in the country Texas State.  Sacramento State is working hard to use last years success and build upon that momentum for years to come.

Alicia and her family worked very hard at achieving this accomplishment and we are very happy for them!

Congrats from all of us at EC Bullets CA!
