Felesita Porter is Heading to Salt Lake

The Factory is proud to announce that Felesita (Fele) Porter, a 2019 graduate from Vista High School, has verbally committed to play softball and continue her education at Salt Lake Community College. Fele, who carries a 3.90 GPA, is a pitcher first and third baseman and currently plays for The Factory 18U Gold Team.

Fele had several college opportunities but ultimately SLCC was her top choice. The Bruins, who have dominated the Scenic West Athletic Conference and been a perennial fixture in St. George at the NJCAA tourney and are known for boasting one of the nation's top offensive squads.

Fele is extremely excited to become a SLCC Bruin!

Congratulations Fele from all of us at The Factory!  Keep up the hard work.

The Factory is proud to announce that Gabby Goco, a 2019 graduate from San Dieguito High School, has committed to play softball and continue her education at the University of British Columbia near Vancouver, BC. Gabby is a right-handed pitcher for The Factory 18U Gold team and an excellent student.

Gabby has been pitching with The Factory for several years and we are extremely happy that she was able to connect with her dream school and she can continue to play softball at the collegiate level. Gabby has played a huge role in her team’s success over the years including winning USSSA Far West Nationals, winning the Colorado Sparkler Long’s Peak bracket and finishing in the top ten at USA Preps Summer Nationals.

The UBC Thunderbirds are the athletic teams that represent the University of British Columbia in the University Endowment Lands just outside the city limits of VancouverBritish Columbia, Canada. In Canadian intercollegiate competition, the Thunderbirds are the most successful athletic program both regionally in the Canada West Universities Athletic Association, and nationally.

Gabby and her family worked very hard at this process and we are very happy for them.

Congrats from all of us at The Factory!
