By Staff

The EC Bullets California are proud to announce that Isabella Bordine (C/3B) has committed to continue her softball and academic career at Whittier College.

Isabella is an excellent student athlete at Helix High School, where she has earned a 3.80 GPA. She has also been a four-year starter for the varsity softball team at Helix. Isabella earned Defensive Player of the Year and 2nd Team All-League honors her sophomore season for Helix. She is having a stellar senior season and is looking forward to finishing strong with her team.

For the Bullets, Isabella has been a great addition to her team as a catcher and playing at 3B. She brings a great work ethic and attitude to the team. In addition to her outstanding defense, Isabella is an incredibly good hitter with power and the ability to be productive with runners on base.

Isabella chose Whittier because of the small class sizes and campus environment. “The campus is beautiful, and it just felt like home away from home”, says Isabella. She is also excited to play for Coach Senyo and loves her passion for winning and the support Coach Senyo gives her athletes. Isabella says’, “I’m ready to compete for a spot and work each day to get better so we can win a few conference titles and, hopefully, a Division III title as well.”

Congratulations Isabella from all of us with the EC Bullets CA and The Factory!

The EC Bullets California are proud to announce that Mackenzie Bivin (2021-UT) has committed to continue her softball and academic career at MIT.

Mackenzie is an impressive student athlete at Rancho Bernardo High School, where she has earned a 4.24 GPA as well as a perfect score on the PSAT.  She is a National Merit Scholar semifinalist.

At RBHS, Mackenzie is an accomplished two sport athlete, excelling at both field hockey and softball.  As a freshman, she played on the varsity softball team, helping the Broncos win the CIF Division 1 championship.  As a sophomore, she garnered All Palomar League second team honors while propelling her team to a league championship.  In her COVID shortened junior season, she led her team in homeruns and RBIs.  She also led Rancho Bernardo’s varsity field hockey team in goals and earned all-league honors her junior year as well.

For the Bullets, Mackenzie has proven to be a gritty, athletic utility player who is comfortable tracking down flyballs in the outfield as well as defending the left side of the infield.  A power hitter with speed, Mackenzie loves working with her teammates to further the Bullets’ winning tradition.

Congratulations Mackenzie from all of us with the EC Bullets CA and The Factory!  Roll Tech!
