Mackenzie Bivin Signs with MIT

01/15/2021, 8:00am PST
By Staff

The EC Bullets California are proud to announce that Mackenzie Bivin (2021-UT) has committed to continue her softball and academic career at MIT.

Mackenzie is an impressive student athlete at Rancho Bernardo High School, where she has earned a 4.24 GPA as well as a perfect score on the PSAT.  She is a National Merit Scholar semifinalist.

At RBHS, Mackenzie is an accomplished two sport athlete, excelling at both field hockey and softball.  As a freshman, she played on the varsity softball team, helping the Broncos win the CIF Division 1 championship.  As a sophomore, she garnered All Palomar League second team honors while propelling her team to a league championship.  In her COVID shortened junior season, she led her team in homeruns and RBIs.  She also led Rancho Bernardo’s varsity field hockey team in goals and earned all-league honors her junior year as well.

For the Bullets, Mackenzie has proven to be a gritty, athletic utility player who is comfortable tracking down flyballs in the outfield as well as defending the left side of the infield.  A power hitter with speed, Mackenzie loves working with her teammates to further the Bullets’ winning tradition.

Congratulations Mackenzie from all of us with the EC Bullets CA and The Factory!  Roll Tech!

The EC Bullets California are proud to announce that Aimee Alvarado, a 2021 graduate from Olympian High School, has committed to continue her softball and academic career at Humboldt State University. Aimee is an outstanding student at Olympian HS where she will graduate this Spring. She currently carries a 4.3 GPA

Aimee is an excellent outfielder and a great run producing hitter for the Bullets. She has been a great addition to the team this year and has shown tremendous leadership skills. In high school, Aimee will be a four-year starter for Olympian and she helped lead her team to the Division II CIF championship in 2018. She was also named Co-Newcomer of the Year her freshman season.

Personal Statement from Aimee:

“I chose Humboldt State for its amazing environment and community. The campus is beautiful, and I am excited to meet the students and faculty. I will be majoring in sociology as well as earning a minor in psychology. I cannot wait to meet my future teammates and play under the amazing Coach Sarchett!”

We look forward to watching Aimee compete in the CCAA at Humboldt State for Coach Sarchett. Humboldt State has won the NCAA DII National Championship twice and been to the World Series eight times.

Congratulations Aimee from all of us with the EC Bullets CA and The Factory!

Congrats go out to some of our 2021 athletes that were able to sign their National Letters of Intent this week. Savannah Coyle (Cal State San Marcos), Taylor Burdette (UC Riverside) and Courtney Williams (Missouri Southern State) signed with their future college teams this week and we are very excited for all of them.

This is an exciting time for these athletes that have worked for years to develop the skills necessary to compete at the next level. We want to congratulate the families and the athletes and wish them all the best in their future collegiate careers.

We have several Seniors from the class of 2021 that will be signing later this year once the application process has been completed and we look forward to announcing their signings as well.

Keep up the hard work and congrats from all of us at The Factory / EC Bullets California.
