The Factory 12U Emery wins SoCal State

The Factory 12U Emery had an amazing weekend going 8-1 to win the TCS SoCal State tournament last weekend. The girls played some great softball all weekend and battled through 5 games Sunday to claim the championship.

The team played solid softball with timely hitting, great pitching and defense. Keely Gousha lead the way on offense hitting .577 for the weekend. Alina Hernandez, Lily Deckard and Natalie Emery lead the way on the mound.

The Factory 14 Black finishes 3rd out of 150 in Colorado

The Factory 14U Black finished in 3rd place out of over 150 teams at the TCS Jr. Sparkler held in Colorado Springs. They had a record of 10-3 during the week including 5 straight wins on Saturday to make the championship bracket.

The week was highlighted by some amazing performances including Abby Kowalski at catcher for all 13 games. Hannah Mearns was dominate in the circle with 29 strikeouts and several huge wins. Anna Carden was amazing at lead-off batting at .633 for the tournament. She was followed by Audrey Shebloski at .486 and Alena Ramirez at.467.

Congrats girls and good luck in Austin, Texas next week at TC Nationals.

The Factory 16 Black Wins Colorado Bracket

The Factory 16U Black team had a great showing in Colorado going 7-1-1 and winning the Long's Peak Bracket. The girls played very well all week. Highlights included some spectacular defensive plays by Faith King and Sydney Zaia along with clutch hitting and pitching including a shut-out in the semi-final game by Reina Serrano. There were some huge home runs including a big blast from Paige Donnelly and two from Sydney Zaia. Congrats Girls!!!
